According to the National Art Museum of China: On October 1st, the 'Ode to Yan'an—Selected Artworks on Yan'an from the National Art Museum of China' exhibition, hosted by the National Art Museum of China, officially opened to the public.

This exhibition carefully selects classic Yan’an-themed artworks from the collection of the National Art Museum of China, featuring 49 pieces from different periods and of various types. Generations of artists have captured the revolutionary years and interpreted the spirit of Yan’an with their brushwork, bringing the heavy revolutionary history to life through visual art. These works carry red memories, embody national pride, and highlight the responsibility of art, serving as a vivid testament to the passing down of the red cultural legacy from generation to generation.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Long March, this exhibition is themed 'Ode to Yan'an.' It aims to use the power of art to pass on the red legacy, promote the Yan'an spirit, and guide audiences to feel the original mission and draw spiritual strength through artworks. It also seeks to inspire contemporary artists to stick to the people's stance, cultivate the fertile ground of our times, create outstanding works, and contribute artisticstrength to building a strong socialist culture and achieving national rejuvenation.

The exhibition is on display in Hall 4 on the first floor of the National Art Museum of China, open until October 24 (closed on Mondays, except public holidays).
